My name is Jean and I have been involved in Primary Education across the world for over 25 years.
During that time there have been HUGE changes in education, and a massive increase in the challenges our children face.
And then there’s the ‘C’ word and all the physical, emotional and mental challenges the pandemic has presented for both ourselves, our families, and the children we work with.
I am passionate about supporting the emotional well-being of our children, by creating and sharing powerful tools and strategies that promote self-understanding, self-esteem and self-confidence.
We are here to thrive, not just survive.
An "Introduction to Mindfulness for Year 6, 7 and 8 Students"
is a 6-week course especially designed to teach your students
about mindfulness along with specific mindfulness tools.
Each week, you'll receive a new lesson where your students can learn proven, practical mindfulness tools for reducing stress and overwhelm, alongside tools for increasing self-compassion and joy.
All fully prepared and ready for you to use.
• you are committed to supporting the well-being of your students
• you like the idea of having all the planning and preparation done for you
• you are willing to set aside 5-10 minutes a day for your students to practice mindfulness
• you are ready to see the benefits that mindfulness brings
• you are looking to just download complete planner or e-book full of solutions and then file it in some never to be seen again folder
• you don't want to set aside any time for mindfulness
• you want to do all the planning and preparation yourself
• you want your students to remain stuck in overwhelm
The only planning you need to do is deciding when to present the lessons to your class, the rest is done for you.
Yes, you can run the lessons at a time that suits you.
When you deliver the lessons is up to you. Research clearly shows that a little bit and often is much more effective in creating change than a big chunk once a fortnight or month etc. Mindfulness is like a muscle - a few push ups each day will lead to stronger muscles than 20 push ups once a month.
No. This is a 'done for you' course. The lessons and mindfulness techniques are all recorded, ready and done for you.
The course will remain in your personal library for 12 months.
